This mid-week gathering is meant to rejuvenate the souls, so as to not be overly consumed by our busy schedules. These three English-translated and Tasawwuf-based books will be read in rotation during the halaqah: 1. Haqa’iq An At-Tasawwuf (Shaykh Abdul Al-Qadir Isa Al-Halabi): Builds fundamental knowledge on Tasawwuf and dispels the misconceptions that surround the science of Tasawwuf and practices in Thoriqah. 2. Rawdah al-Uqala’ wa Nuzhah al-Fudola’ (Imam Abu Hatim Ibn Hibban): Expounds the importance of tazkiyatun nafs wal akhlaq, based on Quranic verses, hadith narrations and sayings of salafus-soleh. 3. Majmu’ah Rasa’il Moulay Ad-Darqawi (Sidi Moulay Al-Arabi Ad-Darqawi): Provides specific guidance in suluk i.e. traversing the spiritual path.
