Ustaz Abdur Rahman

Ustaz Abdur Rahman graduated from Al-Azhar University. He was a student in the faculty of Islamic Theology specialising in Islamic Creed and Philosophy. He emerged as one of the top graduates from Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah. He was given the ‘Anugerah Assoc. Dr Hadijah Rahmat’ award for the best Arabic writing in Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah. He was also the co-writer for the Arabic Grammar guide book, ‘Tayseer’, for Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah. Ustaz Abdur Rahman is ARS certified and is currently working full time at Madrasah Al-Arabiah Al-Islamiah.

Ustazah Syazwaani Binte Mustafa Marican

Ustazah Syazwaani studied and graduated from Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt with a B.A degree in Islamic Jurisprudence (Shariah Islamiyah) in 2014. She has experience teaching students from various levels in madrasah and teaches Al-Quran and Fiqh in her personal capacity. Her greatest passion is teaching the Arabic language as she believes that instilling the love for the language is a pathway to make the Al Quran and the Sunnah as a way of life.

Ustazah Fahimah Binte Mohamed

Ustazah Fahimah is a graduate from the International Islamic University of Malaysia. She specialises in the teaching of tajweed and has been teaching tajweed for 3 years. She aims to teach the Quran in an effective and interactive manner so that her students are able to apply the skills in their own daily recitations. Ustazah Fahimah is ARS certified.

Ustazah Nurhayati Binte Jene

Ustazah Hayati graduated from University Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara Medan with a degree in Al-Ahwal Al-Syakhsiyah. Prior to that, she studied in Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah and University College of Islam Melaka where she attained a diploma in Syariah Islamiyyah. She has over 15 years of experience tutoring in Arabic studies, Quran recitation and memorization. She hopes to make a difference to the community by investing time to educate the youth to learn about Islam and introduce to them the proper reading of the Quran, with Tarteel. Ustazah Hayati is ARS certified.

Ustazah Sakinah Binte Mohamed Noordeen

Ustazah Sakinah studied and graduated from Al-Azhar University, Cairo with a B.A degree in Arabic Language & Literature in 2018. Prior to that, she studied in Madrasah Alsagoff Al Arabiah for 10 years and graduated with a diploma from Madrasah Aljunied Al Islamiah. She has experience in teaching Arabic to various age groups, ranging from nursery children, primary school students and even adults. She hopes to spread the wonders of the Arabic Language in a fun and interesting way that will aid in the understanding of the Quran. Ustazah Sakinah is a hafizah, who took 6 years to complete the memorization of the Quran. She has a Sanad Talaqqi Qiraat Hafs ‘an Asim and is ARS certified.

Ustazah Nurfatin Binte Hamdan

Ustazah Nurfatin graduated from Al-Azhar University, Cairo in 2019 with a B.A Degree in Usuluddin, Tafsir. She has experience in preparing young children ages 3 and 4 for kindergarten through planning and implementing various interactive teaching methods in Arabic Language. In addition, she also tutors and supports the learning of students ages 7 to 16 in Arabic and Islamic subjects. She aspires to instil the values of a good Muslim through sharing the beauty of the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. Ustazah Nurfatin has a Sanad Talaqqi and is ARS certified.
